Quesnel Lake Green Water ??

MPMC released a technical memo addressing the recent concerns over the colour of Quesnel Lake and the unusual green hue observed by local residents. The 11 page report outlines the many scientific reasons for the green colour.

The conclusion outlines the multiple hypothesis for why Quesnel Lake has appeared green before 2014, but apparently no reports were made about concerns with the green hue. " the green colour observed in 2015 was similar in hue to pre 2014 water".

The report also details "that at no time since December 1st 2015 has the mine released any quantity of any substance that would be likely to impact a green colour on the lake".
